Brothers just getting a z750 this w/e for a run about. Its a 2005 model and we are a bit confused. The manual says it is fuel injected but the bikes has a choke lever on the handle bars.

So is the bike fuel injected or not ?

Thats technically a fast idle lever not a choke. You're injected .

Cheers for the response. What do you need a fast idle for? seems a bit redundant to me.

Good question unless it warms the engine quicker . I NEVER used mine on my Z1000.

I was told when I bought mine that it is to warm the engine up a bit faster when it is cold, but he also told me it had a carburetor. I got the feeling that they didn't know to much about that bike's motor. it was easy to see the fuel injection.
