How do I get to the bulb right here? I tried taking off the black parts around the forks where the you get to the head light bulbs...can't see where it is. I got a bulb to replace it. Anyone know how I can get there?

On my 10r it was a gray rubber plug stuck way up on the sides of the faring (as my 06 has two running lights that I replaced with green ones), and had to take off a few plastic parts to get up in there, and still needed a pair of pliers to pull out the rubber part itself.

So are you saying to take off the side fairings, or just those black pieces around the forks?
Most likely just the black around the forks. If you can get your hands on a parts diagram from kawasaki.com or bike bandit, you might be able to figure out a way to access it.
It's most likely not easy by any means, but it is do-able

Oh, I see the gray thing you are talking about, but is impossible to get too without taking off the front fairing. THe entire gauge custe, headlights, and wiring is in the way. I need to get 6 inches behind that and I see no possible way...
anyone?
no one still?
try taking the inner fairing off, the black plastic over the wheel.
I was looking at that, but I can't figure out how to get it out either...
could be a few screws and some push pins. feel around on the panels, there will be indents where the screws/push pins go.
Alright, I know of one screw, its the push pins that are gonna be hard to find all of. Looks to be in 2 pieces too.
There are a couple of pushpins and the one screw, then it pulls out to the rear, but it won't come out all the way (because there are cable holders attached to instrument panel and light cables above), but you don't need it to. Once you have the piece pulled back you can pull the front down at an angle and you'll be able to access the back of the light. It's not difficult at all. The most difficult part was fitting the black plastic piece back up onto the upper fairing tabs because there are several of them that all have to line up.
