Well, the brake light was constantly on so I un-attached the long skinny spring and now I have rear brake but no brake light for that brake pedal. I have a short spring that I have NO CLUE where it goes. Anyone have a manuel of that portion of the bike that they can show, or take a pictures of there bike for me
I know this sounds confusing but I am confused as well, so... 2005 NINJA 250 Last edited by ninjaDUDE24 : 10-13-2008 at 01:32 PM. |

So how is the brake light activated on that bike, sorry I do not ride one.
Many bikes use one spring to pull the brake pedal up as you ride, and another attached to the switch, so when you push down on the pedl it pulls the switch on, activating the light. Take a pic and post it, they are a simple design, it cannot be hard to fix.

I realize this is a totally different model of bike, but could it be anything even vaguely resembling this?

try looking at a ninja 250 website, or google search photos.
Once you see a photo showing the springs locations, you should be able to figure out how they came off. Sorry i have no ninja 250 or i would take a pic and post it for you.
