    Default Puig Windscreen help..

I just bought a new puig windscreen for my 08 ZX6R, everything seems simple enough but I dont know what to do with the rubber tubing it came with? I know it must be simple but I dont want to make any small mistakes... Any suggestions? Thanks.

Are you talking about the trim piece around the outside of the windscreen? Most are slit with an adhesive inside to grip tight.

Im not sure.. Its not attached to the actual windscreen, and all the directions say about it is "Mount the clear edging. No adhesive is required for attachment. Cut any left over material with scissors"?..

You could put it in hot water to soften it before you apply it. I didn't. I used some windex that made it a little slippery, so it would slide on a little easier. I does make a bit of a difference on the wind flow over the screen. I goes along the top edge of the screen.

Same here, it goes on the edge of the screen with the "bare" edge. IME, yes you have to cut it since it isn't cut to fit.
