DOES ANYONE OUT THERE HAVE ANY CHEAP HORSEPOWER MODS FOR A 2001 ZX6-R?
Canadian Kawasaki Motors: ZZ-R250 Sport Bike http://www.kawasaki.ca/touring/ZZ-R250/
It's just not fair! MSRP $6,299.
Not sure how much in US$.
I have been looking around for a new Ninja 500. No one around town has one. On place has a 2004 with 1699 miles on it, asking $4000.00, but it has been dropped at a low speed. Scuffed up on right side. Found a new on in a town about 40 miles from me. Can drive it off for $5300.00. Tax, title,...
hey, i have a 95 ex500. it has under 4k miles on it. recently ive begun to gear this funny noise when im reving while holding the clutch or releasing the clutch. its hard to explain the noise, but it kinda sounds like something tapping the gas tank from underneath, kinda like metal lightly tapping...
i was wondering if they made frame sliders for the ninja 600R. It's a 1995.
I've been riding for about 14 years used to ride a honda v65 magnum, went out a couple a weeks ago after being out of the riding scene for 2 years, walked into a dealer ship ''just looking'' and road out on a kawasaki zr7s,figured I better stay away from the 1000's for a summer while I refaquaint...
Ok guys. I raced motocross for about 8 years or so and this is my first street bike. I have been cruising around now for about 3 days and I love it. I have seen the yoshimura pipes and they sound awesome. They come with a price tag though. My bike has dual exhaust and I was thinking about...
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND MY OIL FILTER ON MY 2001 ZX6-R, I THINK IT'S ON THE L/H SIDE? :?
What is the difference between different rear tyre widths.Well my Kawi's rear tyre is 140, I like more the look of bigger tyres and I feel pitty that I can't install a wider tyre because the maximum size which can be put on is 160, what can I do about that, modification's, suggestions???What are...
I have a 90 Ex500 and i need to replace the left fork seal. I figured i might as well do them both at the same time. I am wondering how much the seals are and what the price would be if i took it to a shop to do the work. I don't know if it is worth doing it myself. THanks
Well I need the full body for a 91 500ex, and I am entertaining the possibility of making one myself, is this a good idea?
Of course I do not have a mold so I probably be doing some eyeballing, what is the body work usaully made of? fiberglass?urethane?
If any of you could give some...
How have I only just found this site ?
Hi everyone. You'll need to bear with me because I'm a complete biking novice. Got an EX500 (or GPZ500S as it is here) last October when I passed my test.
Got on it this morning to come to work and found a nice puncture and flat tyre waiting for me.
I just got finished adjusting and lubing my chain when I went on vacation. When I came back, I hopped on the bike for a nice ride. For some reason, when the bike is stopped in first and the clutch disengaged, it tries to pull forward and will not allow me to roll back. Also, if I have it in gear...
the manual says get a 140/70 v18 tire....are there any other tire sizes that i can put on instead....cause i seen some other tires and i was wondering what's another size i can put on besides the stock sizes...for example would a 140/80/ v18 fit and how much difference would it make riding ..thanks
Ok...i posted before about having problems starting, but when i tried to start it a couple days later it fired right up. Now, i just went out to the garage to fire her up, but got nothing. There's just a whole bunch of clicking. BTW, its a 93 ex500.
I have a buddy who owns an 01 zx6r; he hasnt ridden the bike in a while, but was able to start up his bike a couple of weeks ago; albeit, the bike was running really really rough on idle and this was after we just recharged the battery (but he didnt take it out for a spin).
Tried to get to my bulb (i assume it has a bulb not a sealed beam) no idea how and no idea if is a bulb or sealed beam light. Little help please?
Only 2,800 miles on my bike and now i am froced to get new tires since there is no threading at all. I don't burn out but i do top speed on the bike (130MPH) Anyways, I was looking at our service manual and that it requires size 130/70-17M/C 62H. for the rear. So i was wondering if i can use...
Not trying to scare anybody, but I think its time to slow down in the twisties, look what scraping my bottom cowling is doing to the paint job on it. :scared
At least the rest of the paint is holding up very well, this piece just gets to see a lot more asphalt action.
I have a question. What's the best way to fix a cracked or broken fairing. A little while back, on my ex 250, a piece snapped off the lower cowling and I want to reapir it before I sell it for my new bike.
I've heard sheet meal and fiberglass is good.
Thanks a bunch guys!
