Where should I look to get my first sport bike?

Should I go to a dealership or try to find a private dealer instead?

If u'r lookin new then it would b dealership, used one cheaper (prolly) from individual. Good luck and b careful.

I got my first bike, a 2011 Ninja 250R, from the dealership. They gave me a really great deal on it, and we're amazing to work with.
Four months and 6500 miles later, I was ready to move up. I took my bike back to the dealership and they sold it for me (didnt even charge me commission) and I purchased a new 2011 ZX6R.
A lot of places will finance you (like the girl who bought my old ninja) on a used bike that is not more than 3 years old.
