Riding, I feel connected to that vital place in the center of me, & the chaos in me finds balance.
Here is a pic of my baby.
here is a picture of my 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom and my hubby's Kawasaki VN 2000
I've recently retired my '82 Kawasaki GPz 550 to the show circuit. My daily rider is now a '95 Ducati 900 SS CR. Here they are.
Here she is on our way home from the dealer.. so exciting!![]()

I haven't done any mods yet. Just got it about a month ago. I'm going to put a headlight/tail light modulator in, frame sliders, remove the tail fender, a tank protector (yes, I'm THAT broke!).
I just ordered new pants and gave the ones in the pic to my hubby because my legs were way to long for them. I also ordered a icon yellow safety vest. My gloves hadn't come in yet, I do wear them.....

Maggie47- Nice bike!
The headlight modulator is easy.. plug it in and place the photo-sensor someplace. I stuck my sensor into a section of fairing that could be easily replaced if I messed up when drilling the hole for it. It works, and I can tell it makes drivers do a double take when they see me coming!![]()
I agree with you as well, Maggie47 bike is nice but your is really nice as well.
My question is...what is a headlight modulator? is it anything to do with the colorful headlight i am seeing lately? today i saw a rider on a red ninja with hot pink headlight..and it was really cool, because it was during the morning and you could see that bike from far away! it looked like a cat with pink eyes!..nice!
Tely- No, a headlight modulator is a plug-n-play (or splice in) device that makes the high beam pulsate. There is often a photo sensor connected with it that allows the modulator to sense the amount of day light. When it is gets dark enough, the sensor causes the modulator to stop pulsing the light and your high beam behaves like a normal high beam. You do need to know what kind of bulb you have on your bike, but other than that it's an easy installHope this helps!

If you are unsure if you belong in the club, you do not belong in the club.
HAHAHAHA! You guys are funny. Yes, he's little, but not that little. I'm 5'5", and he's 5'3". When I rode, the pants came above my 8 in. high boots, and man did it get cold. The knee protectors wouldn't go low enough either. Apparently I have like oodles of legs. I got the Joe Rocket 7.0 ballistics, and they rock, a little warm, but they fit.
Nice bike PS Ninja!
My hubby named my bike Rabbit, when he gets his GSXR, it's going to be named Turtle (long story w/ the Turtle).

PS Ninja- pretty bike! .. and good move on the frame sliders.I can't install any on my bike without drilling thru the fairing someplace, which I'm not willing to do. Eh well.
Who knows what designers are thinking when they put these bike fairings together. I guess they wanted to cover more of the bike for the '09 model.
There are always the two types of frame sliders around, drill through the fairing to install, and non drill types. In my case I don't have the option to use the non-drill variety. So I'll pass. As it is my bike already took a "nap" in the garage one dayso I'm over the fear of scratching it up. Luckily it didn't get too gouged up.
Hey ladies, i been gone for a while. Been trying to enjoy Jr as much as I can when the rain hasn't been blasting down on us in the south. Been a busy last month or so for me, with the end of the spring term and summer school starting. But i got a lil bit more free time hopefully coming up this weekend, then i can get caught back up on some of the happs of the site. Trying to finish moving ... JR IS IN A GARAGE SAFE AND SOUND NOW!!! I kept looking at him in there while I was moving in boxes, and he looks so nice next to my big red toolbox that will contain all my tools once i get them settled from my truck. Love that I can work on my bike now. *sigh*
So i'll prolly be back in a week.
Looking great ladies, keep the pictures coming, i'll post up a few of Jr in his new home later on this week.
