Default What to look for in a fall / winter jacket ??

I'm going to take the basic motorcycle course next month and it's going to be chilly or somewhat cold up over here in Jersey. I'm need help as to what to look for in a good jacket for the weather. I've been looking at this one (in either white or black) Joe Rocket Womens Luna Jacket - Closeout Price: $89.99! In stock NOW! Why pay list price of $149.99? . Is this a good one? Am I looking in the right direction or should I look into another type of jacket???

Thanks!

not sure if you got the jacket already but that looks like a nice one. with the removeable liners you can't go wrong. i myself just recently bought a new winter jacket cause the wind chill down here is a bit too chilly for my summer mesh jacket.

but i'm loving my liner in the jacket cause i can wear short sleeves and still stay warm. i've actually worn a sleeveless tee under the jacket and stayed quite toasty.

where as in the mesh jacket, i was having to wear long sleeve, military warm shirts, long sleeve shirts and a hoodie underneath.

Agreed!! removable liners are a good idea. At least u can choose if u need the liner or not depending on the temperature. When i rode with the Joe Rocket Honda textile jacket, i was shaking like a leaf all the way home. That ride felt like an eternity while i tried to hold the bike still. I had ladies Icon tarmac gloves on at the time and my fingers were like ice!! Just got a pair of Icon Tuscadero gloves for my bday, hoping to give those a try soon with my Icon leather Kitty jacket with liner back on.
