Just received confirmation from AMA that I will be riding in the AMA 85th Anniversary parade held at Mid-Ohio Sports car course on the 25th. Confirmation e-mail:

Ok, so a 2008 is not so vintage, but they listed this year as being needed so what the heck! I was planning on going anyhow. I went here years ago and got to ride the road course and this ought to be fun too!

Dang, that would be kind of fun. Too bad I can't go. I'm sitting here with a 26 year old bike and would love to take part in something like that.
