Nothing today, but yesterday I RODE IT!! Finally had warmer temps, sunny skies, and the weekend all coincide. It was fabulous!!! These days are becoming few and far between.

Took the nad out with the wood filter mod after setting the TFI it's night and day from the stock filter way better punch and pulls much harder to 5500rpm in the first 4 gears. Very happy with the results

Actually it was Saturday...

Removed fairing, Emissions control equipment, coils... then pulled the head off and yanked the cylinders. Managed to get the pistons off with out loosing a piston pin retaining clip down the holes. I'm learning.

I'm in the midst of replacing a blown head gasket on my '84 GPz 1100. Figured I may as well do the base gasket while I'm at it.

OH... and I installed a new starter.

Spent Sunday cleaning old gasket off various surfaces. What a pain that is...

Chopped the air box apart to use as a brace for the pod filters I am gonna install. Hoping to find my camera so I can put up some pics of the MacGyver style adaptation. Saw that I was still the top bidder for a new front tire for 22.60 plus 10.58 shipping. Hoping the price holds.

Swapped the old brake reservoir for one my buddy had off of a honda. Much smaller and not kinked at that angle the old one had. Couldn't turn the new bars without running into the tank. Also polished the tank I got for 30 bucks off of thE bay, which at first seemed like a dark blue or faded black. With a little help from our friend rubbing compound, turns out it is a dark purple with metal flecks in the paint. Looks REALLY nice.

Don't give up Freeze, you'll get back to it. Or sell now and buy a step up next time??? But don't quit for good.
