After being without my baby for a whole month, I picked up my bike from the dealership after a top-end engine rebuild.

It would have cost me about $5400 if it wasn't under warranty!!

Now I have to break it in all over again.

Sanded down the jb weld I used to fill in the battery box mounting holes now that its been moved and welded into place. looks pretty good, just needs some paint once everything else that needs to be touched up on the frame is ready. On to the next spot.....f@$#in' rust!

If you still get buffeting try the windshield tilt on gadgets page I did it the other day and it made a world of difference since the tilt lowered the overall height I'm going to raise the shield up to the height it was before the tilt that should help even more and I think the bike handled better at speed too not plowing through the air with the shield straight up, only cost a few zip ties to try it if it doesn't work for you it can be put back to stock.

Quick, V2K is planning to make a run for it, I need guards at every exit! Beware though, word has it that he rides like he stole it.

(And hopefully I am getting a new battery gauge today!)
