yes, Liz, this is the after pic...my pic was the before pic...on the way up the dragon and dave's pic is the after pic....after my little "incident" on the dragon...luckily i was able to get back on it and ride it back down the mountain! But then someone just had to take pics of the damage.....

I understand THAT one. I dropped my bike outside a bike shop, for crying out loud! Handlebars were turned too far to the left, and bike was parked on an incline, AND I had to see around a huge SUV in order to pull out… bad mix for a new rider.

Fortunately, my hero was with me and he got my bike right back up again. I broke the clutch lever's end off, and had said bruised ego, but no scratches on the plastics, amazingly.

I have vowed that I will NEVER drop my bike again… but of course, now I have a new bike that I have to get to know. hehe

Nice avetar Dave. I thought you had sold the blue Ninja 650R, but I'm not sure. So - how many bikes now? The Triumph, the Hawk, and ...? You need to line them up and take a pic of all at once so we can keep up. I'm gonna get me one of them arvaters if I ever manage to ride fast enough. lol

I live about 20 minutes from the Barber, and never bothered to ride on the track. I don't think their clocks can time someone that slow. A calendar might work better.

Aw man...you need to take the 650 up there some time and ride it. it's a blast. They are slow in the novice groups. you won't have a problem.

650 is long gone. Triumph will be very soon as well. A friend of my son wants to buy it. Then it will only be the hawk and the connie. The Connie is what I had at Robbinsville.
