Of course, Connecticut is headed down the same road. It seems like the only thing to do around here is paying your taxes and wishing you could buy beer on Sundays, Holidays and after 9PM.

The good news: apparently there is an "acceptable" level of bacteria in the water at two beaches on the sound, so they've re-opened:

Yes my home these days is in Germany but work keeps me away from there about 8 months of the year.
Beer in Finland is excellent with one small problem, it's not Oz beer. You can buy Fosters here but I'd rather have my arse rubbed with a brick than drink that.
Beef, Hmmm, can't even remember what that tastes like (beef has never really recovered properly from the old mad cow business). Plenty of Rudolf and his red nose to munch on.
