We had a blast at the 2005 Anacortes Oyster Run. There were over 10,000 bikes to OD on, I have posted pictures on my web site, just go to the site & click on the link for the 2005 Oyster run. I will be adding more pictures later, so check back.

Oh, and nice bikes. Maybe I should start planning a paint scheme for mine. Sure does set them apart from the others!

I spent about five days in Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Hattisburgh, MS. BR is in good shape, NO you know about and Hattisburgh needs a lot of work.

From there I went on to Orlando for the NSC Congress and to meet up with Miss N. Three days of departmental meetings, five educational sessions and walking the conventioncenter floor looking at both new and old safety stuff.

First half of the trip was a bear. Hotels are/were full. 18 hr days and very short nights, fortunatly. Had to sleep on the examination table in our Baton Rouge office for four nights. Was really glad to check into the hotel in Orlando on Thursday.

On standby to head for Houston and Lake Charles...just waiting for the client to drop the hammer. Otherwise, I may wind up in Washington for a couple of weeks as a replacement for one of our people going on vacation.

Heavy sigh...it's the end of the good weather (here) and it looks like I may miss it...
