Hi Ya all. Mike here. About a week ago I became the happy owner of 2006 blue and silver 1600E Classic. Bought it from a Honda dealer with 580 miles on it. It came with a factory Kaw windshield and sissy bar. My Phat risers just arrived today and were installed within an hour. They really made the difference for me. I'm 5' 11" and the original handlebar position was ok, but I couldn't just lean back and still reach the bars. Now I can and it rocks, I can see that I'll need highway pegs next.

I've had a few bikes over the years....a CB360, CB750, a Yamaha 650 vertical twin, a Yamaha 750 cruiser (Seca) A Kaw Vulcan 750 and a Shadow 750...I'm probably spacing one or two....but the point is that they were all great bikes. (Edit) How could I have forgot about my V Star 1100?!

This Vulcan 1600 though, it is absolutely hands down the best ever! What a bike, I am in love! I can't wait for the weather to warm up a bit because I am going to to do some serious road tripping this summer.

Here is a pic from the day I brought her home.

UPDATE: Well, I left the forum for a while in Sept. 08 when I traded (choke) the 1600 in on a new Suzi bandit 1250S.

Well, now I have the sportbike bug out of my system. I bought a 97 1500 a few days ago (see pic). Man, it's great to be back on a Vulcan.

Hey everyone. I'm also new here. I own an '06 1500 Classic that I bought a few months ago. I've added a set of Muzzy pipes, backrest, a set of bags, and windshield. Just purchased a Hypercharger and a PC III that will be installed as soon as the weather breaks. Lookin forward to riding and getting to know all of you!

    Default Hello from Missouri

Just bought an '07 Vulcan 900 custom in Plasma Blue- first bike in over 15 years. I've been lurking here for a couple of weeks and have already learned a lot from you guys/gals. After reading about seats, visiting many aftermarket seat sites, and reading several threads about them here, I just purchased a Kaw 900 Classic gel seat from Holwellpowersports.net. Thanks for info on how to shim the bracket to make this seat ft the Custom! It agrees with the Mustang seat site's info.

Question New user asking for help.

Hello everyone! I am very glad to be on this forum. I know I should have my picture posted and I will as soon as I can, sorry!

I have a question if you guys/gals don't mind helping me with. The question is this: I have a '91 Vulcan en500 and am having trouble finding parts (larger sissy bar), does anyone know if there are other models/years that will fit this particular bike? I know that the '90-'96 is the same, but what about others?

Thanks very much and again I am glad to be here.

Welcome, J.C. I can't answer your question but good luck with it.
I'd rather you offend me with the truth than appease me with a lie.

Hi J.C.- Try asking in the cruiser section, if you haven't already.
