Thank you I got the bike for below blue book value with 8,565 on her I was looking at a pan head but I had a H/D and it spent more time down than on the road so I went to the dark side as my friends say LOL

Kawasakis generally are usually pretty reliable.

Around here, 'dark side' has a different meaning: car tire on motorcycle. Getting more and more common as bikers put on high mileage.

Hi Everyone!

I just picked up a 2002 Vulcan 800 A6 with a little over 10k miles on her. I have to admit I've been lurking around this forum before deciding to buy a Kawasaki, so it's nice to introduce myself. Right now I'm still working on cleaning her up a bit and getting a pictures or two up. Looks like I'll be doing some work on this bike over the winter turning it into a bobber of sorts. I know there's a few people here who have experience with that.

I've got a lot of reading to do because there is some much information on these forums!
