Hello all I have a 1988 Kawasaki bayou 300 2x4 new battery it gets great spark and will not start cleaned carb out 3 times good gas, backfires when you apply the choke like a freakin shotgun I have checked the fly wheel and for a sheared key and the timing marks on the cam and fly wheel line up correctly can the CDI cause the miss fire.

Hi my name is nathan I have a 01 zx6r that is carborated and I am going to do some mods to it this winter I live in iowa what would u reccomend starting with I would like to do power commander and turbo but wondering if all that is possible on a carborated bike I have also thought of making it injected I have a buddy that said he can do that but I seem to like the carbs can I get a turbo and power commander for my bike?

Ahoy-hoy. Just bought my first motorcycle. 1978 KZ650B. Have the title, but the registrar wants the engine number in order to transfer the bike. Where do I find that? Spent a little time looking at the engine and frame. Found the VIN, but don't see the engine number.
