I have had ZERO problems with my 1500 and have added many aftermarket items to my bike to personalize it to my tastes. I rode 2600 miles last summer in 7 days on my bike to the top of the world, pushed it harder than i ever thought I would, rode it 16 hours in a day and it never refused to run. it keeps getting stronger and stronger. 2 years old with nearly 17,000 miles and all of them were great miles.

I had a 20 year layoff from riding before jumping on my Kawasaki 2 years ago. I had ridden hondas, yamaha's and suzukis before and all seemed to be great bikes. My wife currently has a Yamaha 650 V-star and it too is a good little bike.

Welcome 99, from another forum newbie! My first street bike was also a Vulcan 750, I miss the way that bike handled, and if I ever get a second motorcycle it will be in the 600-800 class.

    Default Hey y'all!

I'm Levi, Kawi's (Jim's) son. If you see the little yellow banner add at the bottom of the page that says the Clintons, that's me. Kawi likes to support local (Montana) music whenever he can so he put that link up (what a guy!).

I'm working here at BK and doing online stuff all day so I figured I'd stop in and say hi to you kind folks!

I just got my motorcycle endorsement late this summer so I'm super jacked to get out and ride with all of you next summer. I've been working on my riding chops with an '04 Meanie and my dad's Nomad but it's getting a little cold to get much regular riding done these days.

I'm sure I'll be frequenting the forums so I'll see you around!

Those are all bulletproof. Just a choice on your style of riding and what grabs your attention more. I have a Mean Streak and have ridden with spok on his Classic. That bike of his sure rips along just fine and dandy.
The Classic and/or Nomad are better suited for a long haul than the Mean Streak. Their seating position is likely more comfortable.

    And welcome.

Hello Levi and it's nice to meet you!

So your in a band? Which instrument do you play? Do any singing? It'd be great if we get to hear you next July if you are in a band...as long as it's not rap.

Never thought of that. I did it because nobody ever sees me ride, Than they wonder what past them. But thanks

Hey everyone! Thanks for the warm welcomes! It looks like The Clintons will probably have to come and play for the big July event. Now that a few of you mentioned it I'm sure Jimmy won't let us off the hook

Don't worry whistle clean, we're not a rap band! Although John (our lead singer) tends to go off on tangents which can lead to stuff like rapping to a Nitty Gritty Dirty band song or playing some AC/DC to a country shuffle...so no guarantees. hehe

Seriously though, whistle clean I know you've already listened to some stuff on our website so do you think our music is something that the group would enjoy?

Rapping to Nitty Gritty Dirt band...that's hilarious!

I liked the music and style for sure. I listen to a variety of music so I certainly hope you'll play for us then. And yes...to answer your question will the members like your music. I think they will. You know if you give a group enough to drink they'll dance to anything...even rapping to Nitty Gritty Dirt band...LOL

Levi...it'll be a pleasure to hear you guys play and I'll be sure to have my camera at the ready to get some good pics. It'll be a great time and we're certainly looking forward to it.
