Problem: On certain motorcycles, the acceleraror-pump diaphrams may be damaged due to excessive assembly clamping pressure, which can allow fuel to leak from the pump's actuating-rod area. Fuel leakage in hte presence of an ignition source could result in a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the acceleratorpump diaphram. Owners who do not receive this free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Kawasaki at 949-770-0400.
