I have a '04 mean streak with stock exhaust. I have installed a k&n air filter and want a little more volume on the exhaust. Someone said I should drill a 1/2 inch hole thru the baffles. Ideas? Thanks

If you want to keep the stock lokk debaffle them. Take a look at this.

Great tip! I may try the drill method first, but appreciate your help.
Quite a few guys on this forum with Meanies have debaffled them. I did mine not too long ago. If you do a search either of "debaffled Meanie" or "debaffled" you should find the instructions. There are 3 screens in the pipes that you can cut out. The first 2 you can reach with a 1/2" hole saw. The last you will need a 12" extension. I also recommend using a guide rod when removing the first 2. Deniska helped me out.
Have you attempted to use an aftermarket baffle after debaffling, or are you happy with the raw debaffled sound. Also, did you need to make any other adjustments as a result. I have already put in a K&N filter.
Thanks
