So last last this afternoon I take my bike on the highway to meet my wife for lunch.. Its a brand new 06 636 with 1000 miles on it. I hit 80 mph and start to notice the bike is wobbling pretty bad. I immedietly think that the back tire is flat so I have to pull over and I was right. It's totally flat. So I take it to the dealership which luckily is only about 3 miles away. They fill it up and it doesn't leak. It's been 2 hours now and it's still fine. The only thing I can think of is one of the kids in my neighborhood let the air out last night. I'm thinking it had to be last night because I rode on the highway fine and didn't notice any wobbling. Now I'm all paranoid... someone is going to mess with the brakes or tires or something again. I can't think of any reason why it would be flat unless someone let the air out. I have no place else to park it so there isn't really much I can do. I'm thinking of offering the kids a reward if they tell me who did it because I know the group of kids that hangs in my townhouse division. I don't want to egg them on though and give them any ideas if it wasn't them. This sucks... Luckily I just bought an alarm. Iwas going to wait until the weekend to install it but maybe I'll just do it tonight.

Ya install the alarm, but leave it off tonight. Stand watch over your bike and wait with a baseball bat. Take action as needed when the jerks come back.
I have a 24X7 video camera over my front yard and driveway. Good luck. Dave |
