Default Women's plus size riding clothes

Does anyone know of any good sites that specializes in Women's plus size leather riding clothes? I know Leatherup.com sells the larger sizes, but they don't have a size chart on their website. Without a size chart, I am hesitant to order, even though their return policy reads like I would have no problem returning something.

Some of us are still looking. *sigh* The only plus sized riding gear that I found that runs true-to-size is Firstgear. Unfortunately, they only sell plus-sized jackets, up to 2-3x. I have yet to find plus-sized riding pants.

I've ended up with mostly men's gear as a result. My leather jacket is a men's 3x and my chaps are a unisex 3x. I have a 2x Firstgear Kilimanjaro jacket that fits, though.

Maybe someday gear makers will figure out that some women are bigger than a size 12 and we ride too.

I never visit such places but have you tried looking at a harley dealership? May be able to find a unpatched gear there...

What size is is you're specifically looking for?

Teknic's "Venom" jacket goes up to a size 18 (and actually they run a little large). Great quality jacket, good looking, and comfy (has stretch Kevlar panels in it).

Their "Sprint" pant also goes up to an 18:

In mesh, the "Supervent" goes to size 18:

And in textile, the "Sequioa" goes to a 20:

Then there's the G-line from Hein Gericke.... WONDERFUL stuff. Pricey, but well made and great fit.

The Bonzai jacket goes to size 16:

As does the pant:

Saratoga (another leather) goes to 18:

La Jolla (leather) to size 18:

Salinas jacket to size 18:

And I'm sure there's plenty more....

Also, the Joe Rocket Trixie comes in an XXL in one of the colors (can't recall which one... I think it's either the all black, or the black/ivory/red) which would fit about a size 18. Some of Power Trip's jackets go to a size XXL as well.

I have tried the local Harley dealer. The largest they had on the floor was XL. My wife is a 26-28, and she, ummm, "has large tracts of land". (Monty Python joke) That does make it difficult to find anything that can zip up or button up.

Hmmm... lemme see what else I can dig up:

These go up to 3X (ladies): (I wasn't sure what a 26/28 converts to in letter sizing)

LOL - Before I read your second post, I was going to ask if it was for you or the missus. I make no judgements, but clothes do fit men and women differently...

That being said, I'm glad it's not for you...

Try jamming leather, they have jackets 5X and up. Check their big and tall section.
