Cool Old guy in a new place: X E Ryder

    Hello folks,

Just thought I would stop by and say hello! I have some friends and family on this forum and it has alot of great info. Hopefully I may have a grain or two of wisdom to offer and many to learn.

Been riding about 30 years total, 20+ street, done some AMA racing, track days and a whole lot of canyon carving. My favorite Kawi was a 1984 900 Ninja, first bike I did 160 indicated on.

Riding a built Busa now (I know, get that blue "S" thing outa here right?)

To those who host the forum, Thank You!

    Hey thanks for the welcome!

As for the wheelie thing, I LOVE living life on one wheel. I have a real long winded "wheelie how to" I wrote and linked to some great video clips and such. If folks here wanted it I could post it under some appropriate forum if there is a place for such things here. It covers how to start and work your way into serious one wheel action as safe as it can be.

Well it may not be well received, but I posted it in the sportbike section (it did not seem right in Mech corner).

Welcome Ryder! Busas are something else, can't fault you for being attracted to power.

Hahaha! Hilarious, great picture too. Heck with that kind of balance you should be doing wheelies for blocks!

I will get some pics of the Busa in the phots section.

    Right on! Thanks for that!

When I was 19 racing my FJ, a buddy of mine with a VFR was in his 40's and man was he fast! I still beat him about half the time, but he used to tell me:

"Wisdom and Treachery will always overcome Youth and Talent!"

I used to die laughing, only now the joke falling upon me hehehehe.

Oh, as requested, pics up in photo album.

Been hanging out here for a while now, you folks are good people. I enjoy offering whatever I have picked up over the years to those who want to listen, and all in all the members are very cordial.

Thanks for putting up with a 'Busa rider!

Well, I have a couple friends that said the folks here were pretty cool, so I thought I would check it out, and the folks are very nice indeed.

(by the way friend, my 'Busa is a Suzuki, but calling it a Honda is no insult either)
