My choice was the V2K, simply because I ride mostly to work...and accelration and ooomphhhhh count more when driving to work.....or being able to pack stuff with me.

I just evened up the poll with my vote for the V2K. I haven't ridden a Nomad but I have ridden 3 V2Ks and will have one in the garage within a very few days.
On the most important aspect, paraphrasing what someone said above, POWER POWER and MORE POWER... Plus the massive bike handles great IMO, even for a guy my size.
Looks-wise, no comparison. The Nomad has a "big butt" look to it I don't care for at all. I might even have to build myself a little trailer to pull on trips so I don't have to ruin the clean mean look with bags etc.

Caaarrryyyyyyy.....yyyooouuu wwwwaaannnttt oooonnnne.

I'm getting vibes after reading this post. Is there something happening to me or is the V2K the winner hands down?

I just bought another bike and it never occurred to me to buy anything other than a Nomad. I had a 1991 Vulcan for 10 years and basically outfitted it as a Nomad (soft bags, floorboards and HD windshield). If the V2K were shaft drive, I probably would have considered it (or if there weren't a chirping belt issue). But there's no "right" answer to this question-- just like there isn't to "what flavor ice cream do you eat?" (unless it's mango!) lol
