I have been researching bike to bike intercoms for quite awhile now as well and like so many other things in life, you really get what you pay for with intercoms. Have read many people getting frustrated with cheaper units. Most intercoms will work OK at slower speeds like in town at 35-40MPH, but as soon as you get up to 60, it takes a decent setup to be useful. Lots out there to choose from:
