Default Hi, I'm new to riding and the forums! :)

Just purchased my first bike, a Kawasaki Ninja 500. Never ridden before (ever) so I'm looking forward to warmer weather so I can get out there.

I have had a really hard time finding riding boots for women, nothing seems available locally and I wouldn't mind buying from an internet store if I could get some feedback on a good one to try (with decent return policy if the boots don't fit).

ALSO, I am trying to find a good bike-to-bike communication system that can be placed into an existing helmet. I know there's some really cool stuff out there (GPS, bluetooth, MP3 player, works with cell phones) but unless there's something reasonably affordable I'd like to just get the basic bike-to-bike thing. Any recommendations?

    Thank you very much!

Welcome Sabrina, see about the availability of an MSF course in your area.

It'll go a long way towards teaching you both the basics, and some good habits that will stick with you for a lifetime of riding enjoyment.

Post some pics of you and your new bike when you get the chance, we thrive on pics here.

Thanks for the link to newenough.com! Some cool stuff, I appreciate it!

Would love to post a pic but my bike is stored until we get some warmer weather here in New England - right now that's looking like it could be a month or two away!

Sabrina, you must post pics of your bike. And since you are a lady, pics of you on or near your bike. I can not stress this enough.

    Welcome by the way.
