The problem I see with that setup is that the overhang off the back may drag on a driveway situation. It would depend on how far the bumper is from the rear axle. I built one somewhat similar to the one posted, and I had to skid plate it due to dragging.

Be nice Dave, I don't know any Chevy owner that backpedals. They're usually in good shape from walking, have an average of 3 or 4 extra Chevies in the back yard for parts, and are proficient at thumbing and coercing rides from strangers.

I guess my memory is failing me... sheesh... I've been a walking zombie for about 6 weeks now. Forgive me for the confusion. It sure did give you a laugh, huh? hehehe.

It's OK to laugh at yourself once in a while. I'd need to go back and read the thread to follow it, and I don't feel like doing that... so here we are...

That's a good one Jay, and I don't have a good comeback quickly right now.

However, I've never had to walk or repair my truck, so I'm just lucky I guess.

Kudos to you my friend. I suppose it's cheaper to trade in that Chevy once every 6 months, than to have to repair it. Although I've heard that 98% of all chevy trucks are still on the road today, the other 2% have made it home.

i knew that was coming

you know what though, Ford is just the one that was smart enough to see a good marketing ploy. they figure that if people are crazy enough to spend that kind of money on a bike, then maybe they would spend a ton more on a truck just cause it carries the same name.
