    Somehow I think " . . . been riding for 3 months . . ." and " . . . in need of new power . . ." shouldn't be in the same sentence. ;~)

Nothin wrong with a little more power. Maybe she's a natural.

Welcome Candy! You might look into a full system exhaust with a jet kit for a power boost. Not sure on the exhaust brand. There are just too many to choose from...2 bros, akropovic, micron, yoshi, devil, muzzy, d&d, scorpion...the list goes on.

Does simply adding an aftermarket exhaust to a sport bike engine add power? Generally speaking on a cruiser it doesn't.

not usually with slipons (mufflers) but you can add some hp with a full system.

there was a similar thread on the port bike section about 2 weeks ago.. you may want to read that. do a search for it.

rememer 00 to 02 zx6rs are the same bikes.

my experience has been that if I look for aftermarket stuff under zzr nothing comes up but if I look under 02 zx6r more stuff comes up.

a nice carbon fiber look would complement the color of your bike (I think) I am a fan of yoshimura pipes... I don't know why... but if I hbad to change my exaust I would put a yoshi on.. asuming they sound nice on the bike!
    mmm track days....
