Default Italian tradition - post up your mountain passes

I don't know if you have a similar thing in the States, but in Italy, any respectable rider puts as many mountain passes on his riding curriculum as possible - it's the equivalent of pilots putting stars on their planes for all the enemy bogies they've taken down

So here goes my first one: Passo della Presolana in the Alps, about an hour a half away from where I live. Not too high, in feet it's like 4000 feet, but it's the closest one to home so it's the easiest one to get to

I had actually intended to hit 2 yesterday, but the second one was closed, it's still snowed in! I thought I'd post the "evidence" of my attempt up anyway

I know I don't have anything to compare to that where I live, but we have plenty of members that are mountain dwellers, they will come through!

Here are a few taken while we (Spok, Bill Austin, and myself) rode through Glacier Park last summer.

Yo guys, those photos are INCREDIBLE. Especially the ones of Glacier Park... absolutely breathtaking.

But remember... to play the game, you need the EVIDENCE of the sign indicating the pass and (preferably) altitude

11000 feet sure is impressive - I'm sure we don't have any that high here in Europe

Keep 'em coming!

While this sign doesn't show elevation I think at the top of the Rattlesnake Grade and Bueford Grade it's around 4500 ft. Anyway...here's some pics of that ride.

Yessssssssss...thanks for all those pics. I absolutely LOVE seeing these types of pics.

Incredibly beautiful country. I can't wait to check out Bear Tooth Pass, Glacier Park and Lots of the Washington scenery. I keep the Stevens Pass Cam in my favorites folder and check it out once in a while.

Chief Joseph Pass last summer.

And a couple of shots of Yellowstone, just for old time sake.

Well, here's some from when I was in your neck of the woods, Stefano.
I have just gotta do the Dolomites again! Beautiful country you have there.
