I hope this doesn't come out too big.
On the left is my dad with his nitrous ZX12R. He's 71 and has run a best quarter mile of 9.05 on that bike and a top speed of 207mph (timed of course). On the right is me and my "old boner" 750 turbo. This picture is from Streetfighters magazine a couple of years back.

wish i never would've sold it.
Now that is a wicked cool photo of dad and son. Yer dad's only 9 yrs older than me. Gives me hope for riding longer. LOL Timed runs on an actual drag strip are such an adrenilin rush. Never did it on a bike but have done it with a car. 428 cobra. Don't know what was pumping faster my car or my heart.

well, you are certainly not a dummy for buyin a Vulcan. you should go into the general forum and introduce yourself though.
