Yep, I had a 7r just like it and still miss it. I topped it out at darlington raceway just over 160, but I had changed the front sprocket so it accelerated smoother and quicker. That was indicated so I am betting it was just around 150 top end.
My last sporty was an 08 ZX10R and it was MUCH faster lol. It wasn't quite as comfortable, but was much easier to ride and had a ton more power. I already miss it sometimes. I may start up my stable again in the next year or two. I am picturing a sport tourer, a supersport, a tourer and a cruiser. Am I asking too much? lol

Recently picked up this rare gem of a find. 7800 miles on her, and this GPz drives like brand new !! Heres a pic the day I brought it home after being in storage for the past 16 years:

Thanks!
My self, and my other trusted riding buds have all put some mi. on my GPz, and everyone is in amazement as to how tight and new my GPz feels. Yes, it rides like it just came out of the crate !!! No BS... I also have an '82 GS1100E, and the GPz handles a bit more "agressive" however the GPz seems to be a bit "twitchy" when I have it leaned over hard in a corner compared to my GS, so I think I need to fiddle with the suspensions a bit...
