Default The Best Ride Ever......

Friday i worked my butt off to get out of work early so i could go riding. When i get off of work i went to talk to a buddy of mine who said he wanted to ride too, and also knew a guy who just moved to Milwaukee that wanted to ride. Now my friend Chris tells me this guy does stunts, and rides a 750 GSXR that raises my eyebrow. Around 5pm we meet up with this new guy and take a jaunt through some back rodes to see how good he is. We ended up taking him to our spot and he starts to show off for us. First off before we took off i went over a few things with him. Everyone in our group rides for him or herself , if you want to mess around get in front lead and give signals. So we arrive a our spot and within seconds he sarts showing off for us. Wheelies sitting and standing -- preloading the shocks and powering up in 2nd gear ---not bad wheelies i liked his style-- then came the stoppies - he wasnt a pro at them be could do them at 60mph and control it nice--skitching off the side and back were off the list cause it was getting dark. After showing us what he could do he wanted to go home and rest which was cool ,not many people like to ride when its dark out he said and that was ok with us RIDE FOR YOURSELF
So after we dropped the new guy off Chris and i were kind of stuck on where to go or what to do. At this time its about 8pm and we get a call from Tom, and he wants to ride. Chris and I go pick up Tom at his place...

Now this is Where the best ride of my life starts. Too let you in on a few things Chris Tom and I have known each other for 20 years , we rode BMX together took drivers ed together in HS dated some of the same women , we did it all together. Best of buds till the the end. When we got to Toms place we decide to take a short ride through downtown and thats about it. I end up leading us on our journey ,and taking a few routes that were not planned . Now we left around 8:30pm and by the time we hit downtown it was 12:00 . Now as we hit the downtown area if anyone knows Summer Fest here in Milwaukee its a big thing people from around the world come to Milwaukee just to go to this. So traffic was real tight and the whole time we had Skirts hooting at us hanging out of car windows just to talk to us , it was a trip 20000 people and it seemed like we were the center of attention. We played it safe while riding through the hell of traffic. It wasnt much time wasted till we got to open rodes again. I pull off to the side to take a rest and smoke a cig and let them know that i dont want to lead anymore i wanted to fall back and just cruise a little. We take off again and just go cruising around and before you know im leading again lol. So after about a hr of more riding i decided to visit our old neighborhood. Chris Tom and I lived all with in 10 houses from each other when we were growing up and had a spot called the " POT LOT " ( You figure that on out lol ) a small parking lot that we used to hang out and just talk and party. We used to ride our BMX bikes there and jump hills race each other tricks etc it was the SPOT. We get into the old neighborhood and park in the Pot Lot and reflect on our past for a while. It was like we were 16 all over hanging out in the Lot talking about girls bikes cars etc... the whole nine yards. After the short stay at the Lot we decided to take off again and ride south 32 hwy which is a great lakeside ride lots of great scenery , we ended up turning around and going to visit with a friend who was just leaving a bar and her friend and her wanted to hang out for a bit. So we ride over to the girls house who we have known for 15 or so years and hang out making fun of them while they were drunk and watch a short movie of her skydiving and then take off to ride some more. Now we noticed that it was getting late 2:30 am and were still hungry for more riding , but instead we decided to call it a night and ended up riding home at 3:30am. We rode a path to where we all could split off at the last second. I had to make a right Tom had to make a left and Chris had to go straight. As we pull up to our turn i dont know how it happened but as we all split up , i rev , Chris revs , and Tom revs up the engine , at the same time we all pulled wheelies leaning back to wave to each other. ( The rodes were dead and we didnt pull any stunts all day and it seemed like the right time ) I rode my wheelie out for about 100ft brought her down softly and rode home. When get home i had 2 messages on my phone from Chris and Tom who called each other to see if we all got home safely. We got on threeway and just started laughing about the wheelies on how we did them at the same time in three different directions. After hanging up i sat back and just smiled and thought i never want this to end 8+ hours of riding with the best of friends. Most of our rides end in about 3hrs or when it gets dark. But not last night it was like when we were young again and had no cares the world was ours and everything in it Chico lol . You never know how much you enjoy friendship till you have a day like ours. I dont know if they feel the same way about the ride but i do it was The Best Ride of my Life .......... In total we put on 236 miles in 8+hrs
