Default ICON Barrier Pants Question

I have the fleeced lined ICON Barrier pants and they're great for those cold mornings, very warm, I love them!

But my pants stink!! I washed them and they still stink. It's like an industrial odor, like glue maybe? I don't know you have to smell.

I have seen them at two different ICON dealers and they all stink!!

Does anyone have the same problem?

If so why do they stink?

Thanks Ispeed77!!

The odor is starting to go away after washing them 4 times! I was curious if anyone had the same problem, and how they were dealing with it.

Maybe contacting the company and see if they have suggestions / remedies for that?

At the risk of showing my domesticated side, try washing again an then in the last 'rinse' use a minimum of water, just enought to make it sodden, then add two or three caps full of vanilla essence, work it through or even let it soak for some time, then hang to dry from wet (don't wring it out).

I do not know those pants, or the smell but this is a trick I use for various 'smells' (even used it sucessfully when my cat p!$$ed on the car seat...)

You might of course smell like an ice-cream factory instead!

well, as long as you like vanilla, that doesn't sound like too bad of an idea to me ! and if vanilla isn't your thing, try a different scent.
