Default cagers cagers everywhere

Today started off with me going out to fire up the bike, and its pouring with rain.

so being me, I said WTF, fired it up, went in and grabbed the full face helmet, plus full leathers and rode it anyway.

strange thig I noticed, cagers were giving me room......no tailgating, plus some slowed down when i switched lanes to let me in.

Now if that weren't weird enough, coming home, the car pool lane backed up, using my own lane splitting laws, i started to go through

can you believe cager after cager moved over to give me more room up the center.......not a thought of themselves.

I mean, they gave almost a full lane of room between the two of them

Was there a full moon or something today ?????????

Its like that alot here too, my mother always pulls to the side to give motorcycles more room to pass, being married to a biker for over 20 years can do that to ya tho.

by the afternoon, it had stopped raining, thats when I was splitting. One of my rules is not to do it in the rain.

also traffic less than 15, I go no more than about 20.......but thats my safety factor

I like those rules...

I have noticed that too (I ride rain or shine) the cars around me seem to behave better when it rains then the ususal person flies by on the fast lane like its not big deal....

I got caught up in the mountains during the first rain, well it was more like a drizzle. with my full leathers instead of my rain gear... I wanted to get home but those hair pins whe scarry at more than 10-15mph...

now... why did you CHOOSE to be riding during the first rain of the season?

Heck, I win a couple of 400 million, walk away with the cash out and taxes, be left with 5 to 100 million, we go to beartooth and trade in all our old bikes for new ones.

then I want to buy 20 or so new bikes for the sheriff's close to my house, they been decent guys

I was going to say the same thing, but using different words. Anyway, if you can avoid it and you have a car sitting in your driveway...use it. Unless you really have no other modes of transportation, the bike will then be your best friend on a rainy day. Keep in mind, always think about safety first.

Keep on Riding!
