Again zazz, thanks so much for pulling this all off and doing all of the work. Terrific idea.

Thanks Cheri.....and you're right, she IS beautiful!!! Jim took REALLY GOOD CARE of her!! Santa brought me some new grips for Christmas so I'll be putting them on as soon as we get her back to our house...(she's at the in-law's garage for the winter) I go and visit her, but I can't wait to bring both of them home!!!!

Any tips?!
Cheri, that is SO FANTASTIC to hear!!! I can DEFINITELY see a difference in your avatar pic!!!
You're doing SO GREAT!!!
That darn tummy is usually the hardest to tone, but you'll get there before you know it!! It helps to be as motivated as you are!!!
Unfortunately, doing crunches is the best way I know to tone it.... They're not too bad once you get in the mode of mind over matter!!!

You can do it!! ......Cheri....Cheri....Cheri....

Cheri, great work on losing that weight and getting in shape! Just think how much easier it will be to take road trips, too, being fit. You are truly an inspiration!

I have just started yoga practice again. I can again feel those muscles that I thought had gone away. It's a great workout for my arms, shoulders, and "core" (i.e. stomach and back muscles), and I know it will help me have more endurance for long bike trips.

Here's to spring!!!

Good for you on getting back into yoga. You should keep an eye on the diet thread. We all pop in now and again to vent or cheer ar whatever else.

You know I have never looked at the diet thread. Dieting is something I have never done on a conscious level. The thing I have done is to get in shape by working out (walking, bicycling, stationary bicycle, rowing machine) and to stretch with yoga (been practicing on and off since about age 12).

Granted, there are times when I have to cut back on the sweets or the bread, but it has always been more important for me to feel "fit", rather than to weigh in on a scale.
