Default Newbie from Sweden

Hi,folks
as you may see i'm from Sweden and newbie here in this forum
the Kawasaki i have is Z1000 MK2 1979 (i will post some pics later on)
the Kaw is one of the bikes that i will use for my everyday ride
i'm a probike mechanic with a workshop that i operate on my own
and build bikes mostly Harleys in Swedish style (choppers)
But i have a weak spot for Kawis from 70's-80's hey i was a teenager then

Welcome to the forum. Always happy to see Europeans here!

I agree with you about the choppers. It seems like they really do have to be Harleys. Anyway, I know I would never want to chop my Kawa; I like its traditional look.

I agree about not chopping my bike, besides i'm not really sure I'd enjoy having one because those chrome'd out bikes dont' look like they are long haul ready.

Welcome to the group.
Don't forget that Triumphs & BSA's used to be chopped just as much as Harleys in the 60's and 70's. That was the era for a lot of chopped bikes. Seemed like 1/2 of the bikes I saw on the roads back then were chopped.
