Hi Ervin,
Yes flying trained hawks and falcons is really great... nothing like seeing your Falcon flying at 2000 ft up and whistle and it comes down at 200 MPH and lands on your fist. I've been training Raptors for nearly 45 yrs and only riding bikes for about 35yrs.
Keep riding, and fly high,
Mike

I've seen some falconry at the zoos and was very intrigued by it. Very nice to watch.

Hey Mike What an interesting hobby it's actually an art. I have a friend that his dad is into Falconry and he showed me a Black gyrkin. Wow what a beautiful animal. Enjoy and stay safe.

Hello, my name is Rodney. My family calls me Ronnie, the missus calls me honey, friends calls me rooney, and co-workers calls me anything from the letters A-Z. Hell, that's why I came up with something even I can remember.

Thumbs up Names

My name is Bob, thats boB spelled backwards. I'm a Colorado boy laughing all the way to the bank in Nashville, TN who bought a blue/silver Kawasaki
in June. The "mojo" comes from my love guitars as well as Kawi's.

Welcome,
That sounds so cool. We have quite the community of Osprey here, love to sit and watch them hunt the river. It is absolutely unbelievable to watch them dive bomb and come up with a fish.

Glad to have you on board.

My "real" name is Curt, so you can call me "Curt".....I've stayed out 'a this pile up 'cause I'm still waiting for my "ship" to come in......duh....I'm trying to sell my 2003 Honda Nighthawk and I've got money down on the first RED Vulcan 900 that shows up at the local Cow dealership....so far, they've sold about 8 bikes and only one was red and the guy bought it out of the crate...the guy I'm "dealing" with has 2 Silver 900's sitting on the floor....both were "returns" (don't ya just love all my "quotes"?)....and he hasn't sold a bike in two weeks...said that's real common for July...he sold 4 ATV's today and has 4 more deals cooking for next week so he really doesn't care..said he'd sell me the "new" Silver 900 for $6995 any time...but RED is my color (my Nighthawk is RED, by helmet is red, my jacket is red, my windbreaker is red, my gloves are red, I'm a red-blooded AmeriKan....etc, etc. ad_nauseum).....so, when, NOT IF, I get a RED 900 I'll be joining in on this train wreck....been reading ALL the chatter about 900's....windshields, saddlebags, liposuction, dying engines, oil, gas, etc....enjoying Every bit of it!!!!
p.s. You can call me Burt also....that's my Pizza name.....Hey Burt! Your pizza's ready!!

Guess it's time to join in as well. And for all of you who have 'different' names... I'm Irv. Try growing up in a neighborhood of Joe's, Bob's, Dave's, etc.. Yikes. Thanks for all the great information here. It's invaluable. I'm looking for riders in SE Mass to do some group rides. Thanks.

Debi, short and sweet. When you have 5 Debbie's in your 8th grade history class (1955, 56,67 big year for the name, go figure with Deborah Kerr, Debbie Reynolds, etc.) you change the way you spell it so that you don't have to write it all out all the time. Debora Ann to my Daddy though and my mother always hated that I shortened it. (which is probably why I kept it after school) and now, well, hard to teach an old dog new tricks, LOL. Julie, I will turn 50 in September!!!!
