My name is Steve, although a lot of people call me Nutt. It is a nickname I picked up while playing in bands in college, it has kinda stuck. I'll answer to either on the street.

My name is Murl and my initials are M. A. D. I have for several years had and worked with old John Deere tractors. I understand that several of you won't know what I am talking about. These are old 1953 and 55 tractors that have only two cylinders for the engine. They were commonly called Johnny Poppers, because of the way they ran. They require a large heavy flywheel to make them run but will pull way down to the point you can count the firing of each cylinder.
So my nick name is made up by MAD(my initials)4JD(John Deere). Happy New Year to each and everyone on the forum.

You can call me John (my name actually) or JT.
I came up with "1st Kow " `cause I'm a newbie rider and my 1st bike is a Kaw (phonetic spelling). Looking forward to getting to know all of you better here. Happy New Year! JT

I am rather fond of the OLD No.7 too. I try not to over indulge anymore, but once in a while. I could say "My other two cylinder is a John Deere".

Hi, my "real" name is Bob (no Robert, please; it reminds me of my dear Mother when I was in real trouble!). My nickname cruznut6 comes from the love of 2 types of cruising; motorcycles, of course and the DW and I enjoy our vacations, cruising the high seas on ships. The number "6" comes from me being a Nascar fan of Mark Martin from his debut as a full-time driver in 1988. This is a great thread!
