Pure Pork is the name I go by since the late seventies when the TV commercial staring a guy using my real name was popular:

"Jimmy Dean sausage, won't fry away in the skillet, cause it's made with Pure Pork, no fillers"

Been riding a "Beast" since 1999, we now are at 86,211 miles. I have other bikes as well, 3 of the Yam xs650 twins, one Yam xs1100, but I like the Beast "V'ger" for serious travel. All the bikes have names. Do yours?

Guess it's my turn...
Maximum_babe is the name i use at all biker forums i go to. Coined the name from that 80's tv series M-M-M-MaxHeadroom. hehehe... Also partly dedicated to a biker who awakened my lost soul and reminded me what it was like being on a bike, And of course, i couldn't help but want to be a bikerbabe... so ta-daaaa.

The real name's Deborah. followed by one long chinese name. ta-daaaa....

40bikes comes from the early '90s when I first got on the internet and had recently counted all of the cycles, scooters, mopeds and engine powered 2wheelers that I'd owned over the years; current count is 54(bike54 where are you?) [El Paso,TX]and latest love is my '05 1600 Vulcan Classic. Presently have a 920 Virago, GN400 Suzi, Honda C70 Passport running and registered beside the Vulcan. Sold an old Gold Wing last week to get on the1600. Fairing goes on today, some Harley hard bags next week, Caddman and pipe mods, some risers to follow. Already enjoying the BTK site, it's great. Fred is my name, motorcycles the game.

The Mister bit, as I'm a 'silver surfer' (not my idea).
The mischief bit, that's where I learned to drink, (pub name).
If you find me elsewhere. . .
'Rainchild' after a 20Km ride, I sware I'd never seen rain like it anywhere!
BBdrum, I met a father of a best friend from the UK, all he could remember
was that I'd play'd drums in a band!

Threre are two more, just lookit my writing style and. . .
Peggy; allegedly a total sl^t, and a broken leg also rhymes with my family
name, oh, first name is Neil!

That's how I got fired from customer relations. Easy eh!
nothin to do with my abrupt manor

Mr mischief

Our kids were watching a Disney movie, The Fox and the Hound, and there is an owl in the movie that looks after the fox cub and gets hime a home. The owl's name was "Big Mama". Well, The kids then started calling me Big Mama after the movie and it's stuck with me.

I think it's cute, except for when we're in a store and they get seperated and start calling out "BIG MAMA, WHERE ARE YOU!!!!"

Anyone and everyone here can call me Sergio, my real name. Or Serge, an informal name I've been called since I was two years old. Doesn't matter.

So while I might remember a poster's real name day, the next day I've forgotten it. And I really would like to reply to people in a more personal way, especially when they call me Julie instead of jukief.

I'd like to make a list for my personal use to help me remember people's real names (until such a time--if it ever happens--when I can remember without it). I was wondering if those of you who don't mind sharing your real names would reply here with them. I find it hard to keep people straight until I've met them in person, but I really like the more personal touch of using first names. I'm on several other forums, too, which just compounds the problem. So many people to remember! But once I get used to using people's names, I usually remember them. Usually.

Ah, those lovely days when I had more than a couple of brain cells...

Thanks everyone,
Julie

Awwww... Mrs. Crabtree,
You don't have to call me Norman if ya don't wanna... 'You can call me Chubsy - Ubsy
