Default New saddlebags on finnally

I finnally got and installed my saddlebags today. These are the ones to replace my kawasaki mavrick II's after the accident.

next I want to do a tach, first i am going to tune this baby perfect.. If I am in a low gear high RPM and let off the throttle the bike will pop (backfire maybe?) I think it is just a little lean down there, i can richen it up a quarter turn unless the pop is ok here and there?

Studly.

Oh, an O2 sensor. I thought it was some sort of fart pipe/whisky still.

And you do this to pass emissions inspection and then put your preferred exhaust on the bike after? More and more of us do this. Who has an O2 sensor on hand though? How much does one of those cost?

No no no.... you misunderstand.....

in nj we do not have "emissions" testing on motorcycles anyway

i use the 02 sensor to read A/F ratio. I bought this so i can tune my bike to where i get the best ratio (ideally 14.7 but thats too close to lean) I was at 11:1 most of the time and that is very rich, its a waste of power, fuel, and builds up carbon.

I am still working on it, but with the saddlebags i can get the ratio right without having to wear a back back to hold my recording device.

I bought the innovative LM-1 from nightrider.com

At least when myself and the bike are coming down the road, one of us will be studly

actually the seat came from ebay - and it had studs... the bike looked stupid with bags with no studs... so i got studded bags... theres lots of studs

I think people older then 28 should have the studded stuff, but i sort of like it... so to heck with people who think otherwise.

I will say though I do want a go fast bike to sit next to the drifter in the garage

Kenny
