"KrispyKreme physique"
That kills me!

I, myself, have a Dunkin Donuts physique.

I have 3 sons. 12, 5, and 10 months (see avatar). The 12yo rides with me sometimes. The 5yo is dieing to ride. I take him up and down the driveway or across the yard sometimes.
Well, he already wants his own motorcycle.
Cute story:
He was learning to ride his bicycle without the training wheels just last summer/fall. The big push for him was something I told him when he was practicing with the wheels still on. He had asked about getting a little 50cc he saw at the dealership (it had training wheels, too) and I said "You have to learn to ride a bike before you can ride a motorcycle."

Well, his first solo run on the bike was great. We took the wheels off and he rode it like he had been riding for years. I was videoing it, and didn't catch his comment until we were watching it later. As he completed a nice (large) figure 8, he said "See Daddy? Just like a motorcycle, right?"

Now he is asking when we are getting the 50.

Yep. That boy's gonna ride. He's already workin' the old man!

I was lucky(?) enough to grow up in Alaska. Right behind our house was several thousand acres of undeveloped boggy forest land. Just about every kid that could lace his own shoes had a bike, or a mini, or a go-cart. Every empty parcel of dirt for miles had deep berms cut into it, and there was eventually a pretty good 5 mile loop cut through the trees. You could always find someone to ride with, and somewhere to ride to. Gas was about .45 a gallon. a Honda mini-trail 50 was about 225.00 brand spanking new. (if my feeble memory is correct) Those were great days.

I love it when kids wave. I always wave back. I assumed everyone did so I told my grandkids to wave to motorcycles and they would wave back. Big mistake. Didn't happen. I tried to make excuses but they didn't go for it. They don't wave now and they don't really care too much for bikes. Sucks
