Default speakers on bikes

Hooked up that uniqcycle sound system on the bike a week ago, nice little chrome speakers............then finally put my camera mount on.

A review of them, hook up, 6 minutes approximately, i use it with a satelite radio or MP3. The amp is under my seat, cords come from underneath

cruising to about 50mph, sounds great................
60 still pretty good, can be affected by cross winds.
75 to 85.......depends on the song for clarity, but lose some vocals

overall, not a bad investment, I think if I had a full windshield instead of a short one, clarity would be awesome.

this goes from slow speed and stop, up to 85 moh

Gotta be nice not dealing with earphones. Reminds me of a moped we called 'The Hog' a few years ago. We put a 12 inch sub right under the seat. It was all powered by a 200 watt amp bungee corded to the seat behind you. All ran off of a car battery that was strapped to the floor board. What a wild ride that was. People could hear ya commin' like nobodies business!

edit: Here's a pic of the hog!

I was debating about getting those speakers on a lightbar for my 900lt as my next mod and thought it would be the lightbar ... after watching and listening to you vid I changed my mine. I love music so now its the speakers. Thanks.

I was at local hang out a few weeks back and someone there had managed to wire speakers and an amplifier all concealed behind the fairings of a 636.

Thats funny! Man I bet you would get some looks. Reminds me of this guy who used to ride around on a peddle trike with a bass amp and sub sitting in the carrier basket on the back. That was a sight!

I wouldn't mind doing that, but I'm not sure my electrical system could handle it. Heck, 25 years ago, some cars didn't even have radios in them...
