Unfortunately one rider that I hope turned into a squid, it gives the rest of the world a bad name. One thing to hit 180Mpg on a straight away somewhere on the plains where there is one car a day passing through......but in multiple lane traffic..........THAT is playing with risk out of your own control.

had to figure out the conversion for kilometers to miles per hour,

so they were from about 65mph, to 150 mph,

I think at certain speeds, the cop aint taking his eyes off the road in front of him

I'm just trying to figure out the purpose. Is that supposed to be cool? Is it supposed to be cute?

Like Spok said, it makes the politicians just keep whittling away at our freedoms because we're not mature enough to handle them. It makes some young kid go out & buy a bike far beyond his skill level & end up dead. Is the purpose population control? Do we have too many freedoms & need more regulations? Do all the other people on the highway get some kind of rush out of having a biker put their lives in danger?

I can think of a thousand bad reasons but not one good one! Just exactly what is the purpose?

All I can say is, the day some cop decides I'm automatically going to run (because of all the actions of these other idiots) and decides to do a pit maneuver on me to prevent it, is the day I will (after suing the state) go around and find every darned one of these guys and kick their manhood into the empty space between their ears. If they want to think with those parts, they ought to be in the correct position.

I'm not taking one for their team because they want to act like animals...

I am not excusing the dangerous actions of the moron on the bike.....but that said, if the cop is over driving his skill level so badly, he cannot see the bike just feet away from him, in plain view, then the cop should at that point call of the pursuit, and let the rider go.....IMHO letting him go is safer , than chasing ( or being followed in this case) at speeds your not able to safely drive at.

Honestly did that cop really think he could catch a performance bike in that crappy car.
Maybe if he was in a Hennessy Viper, and was a very good driver he had a chance, otherwise he lost before the chase started.

Tip to all cops.........You cannot keep up with a bike in your cop car....... if you want to chase a bike, ride a ZX14, do not drive a volvo, or Impala.

hard for me to say, never been in a cops shoes..........but if we let everyone who can get a free pass at certain speeds, then we have more issues

Try something like that in most of the States and you'll have helicopter fallowing you and most like end up get getting rammed by a police car....if they get close enough.
The video's made by the Getaway in Stockholm people, they have a bunch of videos altho most of the ones ive seen involve cars and not bikes. Ghostrider calls them out in several of his dvd's, and even made his own version of GIS (Ghostrider in Subaru).

I have no desire to even try. That stuff is bad for a bike.

Fire the cop if that is not staged.....and then get him a white cane....
There might have been a no-pursuits policy on that stretch of road -- especially where there's that much traffic.

More likely, the cop was trying to see a plate and radio a report, knowing that there was no way he or she was going to make the stop alone.

He was following the cop....the cop was not in pursuit.

I was stunned to see the cop pass the bike, then not notice the bike following him.
That to me was the funny part.
Maybe the cop had donut crumbs in his eyes , making it hard to see something that obvious, or the guide dog he has was driving the car?

I am unsure, but I sure had to laugh.
