hey everyone just checking to make sure all our folks in the pheonix arizona area are doing ok.... saw he news where hurricane force winds hit there today and wanted to make sure everyone was fine

I'm in West Mesa and didn't get hit with the big winds. There was one heck of a light show, that's for sure and some pretty decent rainfall.

The lightning aspect of the storm was something nobody from around here can remember ever seeing before. There was a persistant thunder that lasted for almost an hour and the most incredible light show I've ever seen

Here's a thread about it on my local rides forum including a Youtube video of some of the amazing lightning. Light show - South West Rides - 24/7 Motorcycle Sanctuary. We're not quite sure yet because we haven't gotten an update from the hospital but it's looking like one of our members might have been struck by lightning? His injuries aren't life threatening but from what we heard this morning, he's missing about 20~30 minutes and isn't exactly sure what happened.

dang sorry to hear that..... keep us posted ok? hes in our thoughts and prayers. i will go and check out the video since i love lightening shows
