If anyone enjoys the backcountry, whether it is on a pair of skis, snowboard, or snowmobile......please be careful and be smart.
Living in BC we know all too well the devastation that is caused every year from avalanches.

That's really terrible. We've had some avalanche fatalities already this year in Colorado, too.

Very tragic for sure. Seems like every winter we read about avalanches in BC claiming skiers, boarders or snowmobilers.

Wow, pretty sad. Closest thing we have to an avalanch here woud be shoppers at a sale.

We have lost at least 15 souls to avalanche's every year for the past number of years.

I saw that on the news and a father trying to talk to reporters about it and fighting off tears/crying as he had lost his son. Very sad and hard to watch!
