FF, Textile jacket, pants, leather gloves, above the ankle boots, mesh in warm weather.

My problem is that I can't place myself in just one category you listed. There are times that I've been in pretty much all of them. Generally it's based on how warm it is, where I'm going, and which bike I'm on. The faster the bike, the more gear. I generally do a poor job of controlling my testosterone!

LMAO. I might actually dress up for holloween as one of those absurd bikers who wears gobbs of leather and has a scruffy beard. I'll get the leather chaps and all. I'll have my girlfriend dress up too. She'll probably want to end up doing the prison guard/inmate thing though.

Ditto! I have a pair of tourmaster Caliber Pants but I don't like 'em, so I rarely wear 'em. They remind me too much of wearing a snowmobile suit. Too bulky and too short.

I also usually wear the Icon Field Armor Knee Pads. Sometime under my jeans, sometimes over my jeans.

I personally think chaps are for the village people. The only time I would consider wearing chaps is when I rode horses.
road rash prevention....i can deal with broken legs--that dont show forever. but road rash sucks on a bicycle, couldn't imagine it on asphalt at 60..
and i get the village people comment more than you think, but it dont bother me, i just threaten to start singing and most of them apoligize....

Did that this year. Bought a $12 H-D do-rag and wife got an $18 H-D head band to complete our dress-up as bikers but nobody at the party got it.

I always wear my underwear, colors and Helmet.
Rest depends on the situation. However; I own 3 armored jackets 2 leather jackets, 5 helmets 3 pr Chaps and many various gloves. Texas goes from cold to blast furnace so like I said it depends on the situation and weather as well as which Bike I'm on. Bagger is more relaxed and the demon is well.....

No helment.

Shorts, t-shirts and deck shoes when it's warm.

Jacket, t-shirts, and boots when it's cool.

Don't ride when it's cold.

Default Depends!

No, not those, but what I wear depends on where I am riding, and I almost take offense at those who preach and almost demand ATGATT... it is still a choice... I respect your choice and expect the same. When I want preached to I go to church

Columbus Ohio population 750,000 I ride through downtown for my commute to work and hit three of the most heavily traveled freeways in the state. ATGATT then.

Open road, back roads, helmet always but not necessarily any other gear unless dictated by weather.

Curious how when I don't have my gear on like boots for example I will think of how much more my ankles / feet might hurt if I go down and will ride safer (read take fewer chances) with those thoughts in mind.

1. Full face helmet.
2.Mesh jacket with foam armor pads inserts.
3. Jeans
4. Steel toe boots from Academy, cover ankles.
5. Full finger leather gloves

If it's a cold morning, I wear sweatpants under my jeans and wind breakers over the jeans. Hoodie and windproof lining go under the jacket. I change at work, so it's not a hassle for me.

Redbeard,
Some people aren't blessed with flowing hair and facial beard so they get jealous and have to downgrade those who do. Yesterday a lady called me a Silver Fox.

I dress for the weather.
Over 75, t-shirt and jeans, harness boots, half-gloves, club vest if on a club ride.
60-75, add a leather jacket under the vest.
50-60, add full gauntlet gloves.
Under 45-50, or when expecting rain, add chaps.
Helmet... Carbon Fiber polo in California and Nevada, no helmet in "free" states. Sunglasses daytime, clear safety goggles night.
