Ok, i desperately need some help....to start i'll explain the situation. A few days ago my dad and i were getting the bike (It's a kawaskai byou 220, year 1999) out and i started to ride it around. Well, while i was on it i noticed that the reverse switch (to go to reverse you have to turn it about 90 degrees and downshift) was acting kind of funny, in the manner that it was actually able to turn 360 degrees AND MORE, which is not normal. Anyway, i ignored it, but the next day my dad said he wasn't able to start the bike. He said that he was in neutral but the engine wouldn't even turn over, it wouldn't even make a noise. He also noted that the reverse switch was popped out a little and that you can turn it over and over. That brings me to believe that the broken reverse switch is somehow prohibiting the engine from starting, even when it is in neutral (which is how it must be started). To make matters worse, now we can't even get the bike into neutral now.
Also, my dad told me to ask weither the reverse switch is electric or if it's a cord >.>.
SO, i really need to get this bike fixed within the new few weeks, which means i REALLY need help.
Anyway, thanks for any and all help.
