Exclamation 2003 Nomad FI Fuel Problem??

I have a 2003 Nomad with 24,000 miles. I have all it services checks up to date and the last was done just two weeks before this problem. Three weeks ago I filled up at a local supermarket gas bar. Almost immediately it started to chug and chough. Home was only three miles away and I immediately put in some STP Fuel Injector cleaner. Went through three tanks of gas from a known source and tried water treatment and octane booster with no success. Finally gave up and put it into the dealer. They put it on the computer said they could not find anything. They did change the plugs, reset idle and replaced the air filter. They put in some fuel injector cleaner and said they cleaned the injectors. They said it was OK but I never even got home before I knew it was worse, It cost me a grand just to get it chug more and it will die if the throttle is closed for more than a literal second or two.

Back into the shop and now they are going to put in new injectors. This seems like hit and miss. They said they hooked it up to the computer and thus it should not be the ECM or other sensors.

What else can I try before I shoot the bike and put it out of my misery? The mechanics do not seem to know what to do.

Default Did You Ever Figure It Out?

I had the same problem - The bike was running fine - I filled up with what I suspect to be bad gas and the bike was lurching and stalling out. The FI light would light up whenever it happened and it would be sporadic. I tried FI cleaner and octane booster - nothing. Unfortunately I dont have the money to take it to the shop, so it's just ben sitting for the last year.
I want to ride this year so I've been saving to get it worked on but any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. email me please.

maybe,,,does it have the in tank fuel filter????
if so, pull the tank off, pull the filter out and check it or replace it... make sure fuel pump is not clogged up...

I've only seen this one time before. don't fuel up right after a fuel delivery at the station. when they fill the underground tanks it kicks up all the crap at the bottom of the tank... and that will go right in your tank!!!!!
