Question Z750s...cooling fan

Does you cooling fan come on??? Have not heard mine yet...course have not been further than around the block once or twice. Is there a way to test it without getting the bike hot

You should be able to remove the wire from the temp sensor and ground the wire to make the fan come on manually.

If the fan comes on when you ground the wire, then either your bike is not getting hot enough to activate the fan [almost certain if you are only 'going round the block once or twice' ]Or your sensor is faulty.

Not sure on your bike, but you may need the ignition on [engine stopped !] for you to perform the grounding test.

It should not be coming on unless you let it sit running for a bit. Normal operation does not trigger it.
