Need throttle cable info

Hey all,
I have an '03 Meanstreak that I just installed Nomad handlebars/risers on and I love it. I want to keep the stock routing of the throttle cables which means they're gonna have to be longer than the stock Meanstreak cables.

I'm wanting to find out if the FI Nomad/Classic throttle cables are longer than those of the Meanstreak. I've looked at the cable routing on those bikes and it looks like they would be longer but not sure.

Does anyone here know for sure? I've got feelers out all over the net trying to find out with no luck so far.

I'd like to know before I shell out $60 for a set of them. Thanks for any info.

you might wanna consider aftermarket cables derek to make sure you get the length
you need - plus you can get some relly fnacy ones to dress up the scoot this way
with the different wrappings they offer-i don't know either about the length of the nomad wires but if the part #'s are different then so are the cables prolly-good luck

Hey all,
A while back I asked about throttle cable length differences between
the MS and Nomad. Emailed Kawasaki consumer services and got a reply
today.

So for everyones future reference, they tell me the Nomad cables are
approx. 7" longer than the MS cables.

After putting Nomad bars and risers on my MS, I've wanted longer
cables so I can continue to use stock routing of them, which makes
the stock MS cables too short. I think an extra 7" will do the trick.

The throttle housing keeper for the pull cable is a little different
but it will easily change out with the MS one.
